About Greg and Joanne

I'm sorry to announce that we are no longer involved with the Trivani Company. We have not changed our minds about the products, they really are great. We also like the purpose of helping others in need. We simply have lost confidence in the company and have decided to move on. We are not looking for another network marketing company for now, we have too many other projects going on.

CATACADE - The ORAC Battle Has Been Won!

Catacade's ORAC score is an incredible 39,200 per daily serving! No one else even comes close! Most ORAC scores for anti-oxidant products range between 50-500 per dose. This means you'd have to take anywhere between 78-784 doses of a mainstream anti-oxidant supplement in order to get approximately the same amount of anti-oxidant fighting power in a single dose of Catacade.

Catacades's incredible ORAC score makes it the clear leader in anti-oxidant supplements. Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity (ORAC) is a method of measuring antioxidant capacities. Most reputable companies submit their anti-oxidant nutritional supplements to an ORAC test to see just how effective their product is in scavenging for and eliminating free radicals from your body. The higher the ORAC score, the better the product is at accomplishing this goal.

We believe Catacade's high ORAC score is due to our patented cascading technology. Catacade's ORAC test also showed it to be extremely effective in combating hdroxyl, one of the most dangerous types of free radicals.

If you investigate the product pages of most of our competitors, you'll find they claim to have high ORAC scores, but most don't actually post their scores. Trivani is not afraid to post our 39,200 ORAC score. Let the others fight over second place.

Trivani 287 Tea is Here!

Trivani's 287 Tea was officially launched Wednesday, April 14th at 7:00 p.m. The tea's name is a tribute to Trivani's 287 awareness campaign that warns consumers about the industrial and environmental toxins that have become part of our everyday lives. At Trivani, we urge people to protect themselves from the outside in by using personal care products that are absolutely free of harmful chemical pollutants. Now you can help your body protect itself from the inside out by drinking 287 Tea.

287 Tea supports the detoxification of your lymphatic system, blood, liver and other vital organs; it helps the body rid itself of heavy metals and supports the body’s fight against damage caused by toxins.

You can read more about the incredible health benefits of the ingredients, and about the 287 business building ideas by clicking here.

Ingredients, Features & Benefits

Sheep sorrel, Burdock root, Slippery Elm bark, and Chinese Rhubarb are the four ingredients of Nurse Caisse’s legendary formula. They are known for their diuretic properties and are used to support the body’s efforts to detoxify the blood and liver and support its overall well-being. Trivani’s 287 Tea has the same percentages of these four ingredients as Nurse Caisse’s original formula which she based on Native American formulations.

The Blazei mushroom is high in beta glucans, compounds known for stimulating the immune system. There are several new, impressive studies on this ingredient coming out of Asia. (See www.PubMed.com to read studies about the benefits of this single ingredient.) Trivani is one of the first companies in the world to use this ingredient.

Fo Ti, also known as Polygonum Multiflorum, supports all of the glands in the body’s endocrine system: the pituitary gland, the hypothalamus, the thyroid glands, adrenal glands, sex glands, thymus, and the pineal gland. These glands regulate just about every function in the body including our growth and hormones.

Dandelion root has traditionally been used to support kidney health, reduce swelling, ease digestive disorders and improve the body’s elimination processes.

New evidence indicates that Gingko Biloba supports blood flow to the brain, improving circulation by dilating the blood vessels and reducing the stickiness of blood platelets. Gingko Biloba is adaptogenic which means this ingredient adjusts to benefit each person individually. Gingko leaves also contain flavonoids and terpenoids believed to have strong antioxidant properties.

“Selenium may reduce the risk of certain cancers. Some scientific evidence suggests that consumption of selenium may reduce the risk of certain forms of cancer. However, FDA has determined that this evidence is limited and not conclusive.” –Official FDA statement

Star anise contains components used in Tamiflu®. It also has a delicious flavor.

A Little Secret to Trivani's Hydrating Lotion...

Those who have tried Trivani’s Hydrating Lotion know of its ability to make skin softer, smoother, and younger-looking. But how does it work? One active ingredient in particular helps to make our lotion as effective as it is: hyaluronic acid.
Hyalruonic acid (a.k.a. sodium hyaluronate) is a key structural component that occurs naturally in the skin. In the dermis, hyaluronic acid functions as a space-filling, cell-protective molecule that provides structure and volume. As we age, the amount of natural hyaluronic acid decreases, leading to dermal dehydration and wrinkle formation.

In the past and even today, many creams and lotions claim to contain hyaluronic acid—and indeed they do. However, most of these products contain a very large molecular weight version of hyaluronic acid that, instead of penetrating skin, functions as a humectant on top of the skin. For topically applied hyaluronic acid to provide any real structural effect, it must penetrate the skin.

Today, the substance of choice to diminish wrinkles is non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid (NASHA) gel. The best known brands of NASHA are Restylane, Captique, and Juvider, which are all administered via injection by plastic surgeons. Trivani Hydrating Lotion offers a safe, effective, and painless alternative to this because it contains a low molecular weight hyaluronic acid that penetrates all layers of the epidermis within 30 minutes of application.

This type of hyaluronic acid is what you can find in Trivani’s Hydrating Lotion. This incredible, penetrating ingredient has excellent moisturizing and plumping benefits for your skin, which results in that soft, smooth, healthy skin you have come to know and love!

Trivani Deodorant Mist

Trivani Deodorant Mist has No Aluminum or Propylene Glycol, and Yes - It actually works!! I've been waiting until I really gave it a good try to write my review, and now I've switched for good.

Okay, I was a little unhappy that it's a spray. I was remembering the days when I used a roll-on deodorant and had to do the chicken dance to get my underarms to dry. No chicken dance here. It's not a gel so it dries really fast. The side benefit of a spray is you can use it anywhere without worrying about nasty chemicals. I heard it works great on smelly feet - you wouldn't try a regular deodorant stick between your toes (yuck!).

I really wasn't convinced until I gave it a good test. Some of the tests were: the treadmill test, the long walk through deep sand on a humid day test, and yes, Greg gave it the working in the hot sun on a backhoe all day test. I've even got my father-in-law using it and he works at a construction site. This stuff really works. Get yours here.

So here's how it works. (Get Free Trivani Product Factsheets here)
• Polyglyceryl-3 Caprylate is a plant-based antibacterial substance that provides gentle, on-demand protection for 24 hours.
• Sodium Usnate comes from a lichen, aka Old Man's Beard, and fights odor-causing bacteria. Caprylyl Glycol then helps to improve the effectiveness of Sodium Usnate even further.
• Trehalaose is a disachcharide (sugar) found in plants and is naturally occurring in foods. It slows the breakdown of fatty acids (when acids are broken down they cause odors).
• Vitikol is an active antibacterial that works against the bacteria that are responsible for body odor. This ingredient is effective against staph and candida.

The Trivani Deodorant Mist does not irritate my skin. I love it and will be using it from now on. For more information about Trivani visit my site at http://www.trivanijoanne.com/.

Trivani Day Protection Serum

I like the Day Protection Serum a lot. I can use it everyday without breakouts, and without getting any allergic reaction.

I went to the Trivani Mini-Grand Launch in Honolulu and heard Dan Miser, their head scientist talk about this Serum. Here is what I learned.

1. The OGG1 is an enzyme for repairing mitrochondrial & nuclear DNA. It complements and mimics your body's own OGG1.

2. The Smart-Spheres explode when they reach a ph of 4 in order to target the lower layer of your skin. In other words, they don't release the OGG1 until they reach the right layer of your skin. Very cool.

3. There is one other company that uses this technology and their product is around $300 for 1/2 ounce!

The serum can repair sun damage, and of course they use enough of these ingredients to be effective! My skin is soft and looks great. :).

Trivani Conditioner Review

My first impression of the Trivani Conditioner was not great. Yes it detangles hair, but it is the kind of conditioner that makes your hair light and fluffy. I’m used to sleek and slippery. I had the conditioner in the shower and wanted to use it up so I kept on using it. After about a week I noticed that my hair is really shiny. Now it’s not easy to make blond or light brown hair look shiny without making it look greasy. Light hair will really show any oily residue. I really like how shiny and healthy my hair looks! The light and fluffy formula gives my hair extra body that I really needed. I’m real happy with it. Try the Trivani Conditioner for a week. I think you’ll like it too.

No Sodium Lauryl Sulfate

Some of you may already know that I have skin allergies. I have to be very picky about what I put on my skin, including the soaps I use and even which laundry detergent I use!

The first thing that makes me happy about Trivani is that they do NOT use Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. This is one of the items I'm sensitive to, which is found in many many soaps. When you're standing in the shampoo aisle at your stuff-mart, of all the many choices maybe 1 or 2 shampoos will be without theis ingredient. It can be tough. I have NEVER found a bar soap that I can use (I wash with shampoo).

I have now tried Trivani's shampoo, facial cleanser, shower gel and shower bar. Yay! No skin reaction at all. They all have a nice rich sudsy lather and they don't have any nasty perfume smell.

My favorite so far is the facial cleanser. Usually when I switch face cleansers my skin goes into shock, breaks out for a few days, then gets used to the new cleanser and goes back to normal. With the Trivani cleanser there was no "breaking in" period. My skin is clean with no breakouts at all. I'm sold.

Shower Bar

We learned some cool things about the products at the Oahu meeting. I liked hearing Dan Mizer, the Chief Science Officer, talk about the chemistry. I will start sharing information I've learned and giving my own product reviews in these blog posts. One small tidbit is about the Shower Bar. They're calling it the "Un-Soap" because it cleans without using soap. Soap has a high ph which is bad for your skin. Because they're not using soap, they can control the ph, and so it's skin friendly. Dan uses it to shave. I tried it and it works great.
